The Finger of God in Bible Versus Quran
Before addressing the issue of the finger in the Koran against science versus the Bible, we must remember that the total number of words in the Bible are 788,280 while total words in the Quran are 77,473. It follows that the Bible is more than 10 times the Quran word-wise. The finger is mentioned 43 times in the Bible and five times in the Qur'an, ie the Bible mentions the finger about nine times as the Koran. In other words, the Bible has the potential for more than 10 times the word (-wise) and about nine times (subject-wise) that the Quran to talk about the finger.
