Indonesia magical oils Shamanism Part 1

Introduction

Almost every shamanic and pagan culture has its own collection of oil used in the occult and magical purposes. In this article we describe some of these minyak "(as oils are called in the language of Indonesia / Malaya), found in the Indonesian archipelago. This is an ongoing project and you can update this article if you have additional information on the issue.

There are many oils used for occult purposes, can be divided into two categories: ordinary and extraordinary. For example, Zafarron, Misik, gaharu oils used for anointing and writing sigils, seals, Kameas, wefeqs, etc, are the "normal" ones. Here we describe the extraordinary and unusual types of magical oils. We are not able to personally attest to the truth of the virtues of any of these oils, or in some cases unwilling for. Their descriptions and use is given only for the sake of information purposes. It is also noted that most of these oils are rare and hard to obtain.

Minyak Hadang

For centuries this potent minyak is considered the king of love oils. Not only is it used for romantic affairs of men and women are also often used as a means to improve fecal occult-house, Amparo-off black magic and Protection From negative energies.

This oil is said to derive from a rare buffalo-species only found in the depths South and East Kalimantan (Borneo) forest, especially in the town of Payangan Muara, Muara Kumam in the area Grogot regency. In the language of the native tribes, Pasir village, Hadang means "buffalo."

These buffalo are wild and aggressive Hadang, and there in large numbers in the jungles and forests. The oil is acquired when the animal is already dead and decomposing. Hidden reasons is forbidden to kill this mammal for their fluid extracts. While that this animal's body decomposing, it exudes a liquid oil which is Hadang. Due to the scarcity of this buffalo, the oil extract is a curiosity uncommon. Only certain brave villagers of the Pasir tribe who dare to make the trip to the jungle and willing to spend some days there are able to acquire this oil.

The Pasir tribes are well known for their black magic. Visitors to abuse the privileges and act with arrogance are often subsequently suffer from illnesses, and in extreme cases even death. The Pasir people normally apply the oil Hadang to capture, tame and domesticate the wild buffaloes. Her method of evoking these animals is to add a few drops oil to their tracks, and not long after, as if by magic, creatures screaming it seems. Buffalo are then tamed and enchanted by drying extra oil in their skins. Under the influence of the magical fluid, the buffaloes follow the hunters willingly. During the trip back to the village, the eyes and ears of the buffaloes are purposefully covered with mud and the lovely fabrics so that creatures do not feel threatened by the presence of other humans. And humans and hearing their voices prematurely would infuriate them and they start attacking all bystanders. The buffaloes only feel safe with their captors.

During the first days of the discovery of oil, when used only to fascinate buffaloes, teenagers began wondering about the possibility of its application in other matters considered important – such as love affairs! They thought that if you keep your lovely buffalo with the help of oil, surely the opposite sex would be a similar reaction when applied on them. After a period of experimentation they discovered that their assumption was correct.

Above that said that this oil was taken from the carcass of the buffalo Hadang and not allowed to be slaughtered for occult reasons. This could be an excuse, however, by the people Pasir veiled by their own motives. Some other sources tell us that these animals are killed for this very purpose and it is possible to extract the hot oil body parts and organs of the buffalo for several hours in a clay pot until it releases the oil. It is said that this should be done in the forest with no one around and aware of the operation. Before boiling, a mantra should be recited in the tribal language of the Pasir population:

"Pisang bikat lalu laut Lakung Sulu
Sisi bikat uyato rampung
Puluk Ina Tinggang ulu "

The method Hadang oil used in love spells is to dab a little of it anywhere in the body of the subject unaware that are going to attract using only the right ring finger. Before drying, the above mantra has to be sung in silence and then the oil on your finger is going to blow the breath that has been influenced by magic mantra. After being smeared with this oil the subject would be that the user constantly in her thoughts and strive to both possible to be close to the magical operation, but before use, the subject was aloof and inattentive. Most love oils are applied similarly.

Minyak Bintang

This oil is one of the most mysterious. It originates with the Dayak tribes and Tujunga Benuaq Kalimantan. In their dialect they call Olaau Bintaakng " Minyak Bintang, "or" Star-oil. "This liquid can be properly said to be the" elixir of life ", as it possesses rejuvenating properties not only speeds up the sick or weak bodies, but also has the power, as claimed, to revive the dead. Star oil factory on certain internal strength training and skills, which in Indonesian occult circles are called Ilmu Tenaga Kedigdayaan or Danger. In China these are referred to as Chi Kung. Individuals who have mastered the use of the Star of oil and displayed his inner strength are believed to be capable of accelerating their bodies with a new vital life force and awaken themselves death-state.

In recent days, while war was still common among the tribes in Kalimantan and even in other parts of Indonesia, had this competitive search among the warrior caste of hidden objects and psycho-physical training that give their possessors and practitioners invulnerability against weapons and supernatural strength, to provide an extra advantage over enemies. The ancient tribes believed that war must be won at any cost and whether it could be done cheaply and fast with magic, which would be approved. This line of reasoning seems to have his supporters in contemporary governments doing research on technology PSI-Guerra.

To return to our view, however, some tribes of the Dayaks eventually came to a most powerful creation that gave them a virtue more beyond their wildest dreams: Olaau Bintaakng. This was the pinnacle of his Ilmu, or occult knowledge and only a few were able to master it. Those with This oil and power usually uninterested in acquiring other forms of Ilmu Kedigdayaan. The oil also have certain psychological effects on their minds alchemy and transmutation of personal characteristics such as cowardice into courage. The fear of death here is mitigated by the power of oil.

The Star-oil is manufactured by the shamans of the tribe and because of the difficulty in its production is sold at a high price, it is for this reason that most customers and consumers of this oil-rich members of the community. Its origin and formula is not known as the Dayak shamans are secretive in this matter. Outside very little known about the existence of this oil and most of those who know it as "old wives tales. "

This oil can be said to offer some sort of physical immortality – But on a temporary basis if the weakness and limitation of this Ilmu or power is known by the enemies. The method of defeating someone who is a Star-Oil Master is to vanquish him and immediately separated parts of his body and bury it in different places. Only in this way is permanently immobilized, otherwise, there would only revive amid night when the stars are out and resume his physical life. No matter how severely wounded, beaten, shot and killed in an accident or war, when the stars start shining the corpse hear the "trumpet call" and respond with force – this is the version of the Dayak of resurrection. This process is different the zombies, the supposedly dead-alive. The corpse of the Star of oil master would actually reanimated and regenerated with vital force giving it new life. Whether frozen blood and body in a condition of rigor mortis. When nightfall comes, the body slowly woke up. The effects of the Star-Oil has some resemblance to Java's hidden powers as "Ilmu Rawa Rontek" and "Aji Pancasona.

We believe that scientific research this oil would be very beneficial for mankind, but the latter as a whole may not be ready for it yet. Moreover, the acquisition of a sample of this oil Dayaks for analysis would be a problem as they are very wary of strangers visiting their communities or giving their secrets or magic points away.

The Star-oil itself has a greenish or yellowish tinge and is very simple to apply. All one has to do is consume a few drops on a Thursday night, along with the application of other essential instructions from the shaman and this would be sufficient to provide power with long life. This occult virtue can not be magically transferred to others unless the same consume the elixir. Dying persons when given this oil-potion is "guaranteed" recovery, even if they subsequently show signs of death. The Star-oil would have its effect when the stars are out.

Minyak Kawiyang

Another rare Dayak specialty is Minyak Kawiyang, or "Kawiyang Oil." Some also call it Sumbulik Minyak. According to sources this oil originates in the mountains Kinibalu. There is a romantic legend related to minyak.

In the old days, lived at the foot of the mountains Kinibalu beautiful widow who for some unknown reason, year after year was made more and more beautiful. This was not surprising that he had many suitors who sought her hand in marriage. For some reason, however, marital status did not last much for her and each marriage ended in divorce.

While on his deathbed, all of her ex-husband-99 came to visit, weeping and regretting their behavior immature past to her. Minutes after her transition, and in the middle of the meeting, a voice from nowhere was suddenly heard. He told the men that their wife having loved her husband left too expensive for them a chalice filled with oil. They were instructed by this voice to share including oil and always cherish as a memento and a reminder of the love of women, and not forget it. This oil later became known as Kawiyang.

Putting aside the legends Kawiyang oil comes in five different types and colors: black, red, green, yellow and white. Each of these is said to have its own special virtues. The black Kawiyang confers invisibility, charisma, authority, and invulnerability to hand weapons, while the red Kawiyang gives an anti-gravity field in the body so it is possible to travel in the fastest time possible. Large rivers and mountain crevasses are easily crossed with single leaps. The red Kawiyang also gives the possibility of ordering the spirits for help Jin in physical combat. Green Kawiyang oil has its use in teluh Santet and forms of black magic. This oil can also be used to obtain or maintain an appearance youth. It is believed that this is acquired through activities of vampires. Only a little oil on the neck and head are supposed to sever ties with the body and fly-in somewhere to search for victims to suck blood. Some of the oils have bluish green color and this is supposed to be another excellent source for the operation of black magic. It has the power to de-materialize objects and materializing it again as malicious implants in the bodies of victims. The unfortunate person subjected to such implants will not much later.

Kawiyang yellow oil is used for love, attraction and fascination. There are spells and mantras are necessary for it. Everything is required to acquire one or two drops with fingertips and apply on the palms. The two palms are then rubbed together. After this all you have to do is touched with the hands and fingers of the subject we wish to fascinate – maybe like a handshake.

The wealth and wealth may be gained in the use Kawiyang white oil. This is a magical oils mostly out – for which money has the power to instantly manifest the invisible worlds. Those possessing this oil are given financial security. Nothing much to be done – money materializes supernaturally on a back with almost no oversight or direction for the familiar spirit associated with oil. Shipwrecks, destroyed houses and buildings, and buried money are some of the sources of this wealth.

White Oil of Kawiyang can also be used to magically transport money spent on the purchase back to us. In other words, money spent was secretly deported from back to Spender.

Each of the oils has its familiar belonging to the genius of geniuses or type of spirits. The guardian of the etheric oil Kawiyang White has the shape of the woman who had 99 husbands. Relatives of other states minyaks to be sisters of the above Jinn. They are called Camariah, Dandaniah, Tambuniah and Uraniah.

According to certain native psychics who are well versed in the Dayak traditions and occultism, to operate each year, these oils should be given sesajen, or offering food, that are not always suitable for human consumption. The black oil is due to the blood of a black chicken together with black glutinous rice. The red and green oil requires blood from a finger ring and water from sugarcane in red, while yellow oil and white need to be fed with powdered gold.

Although they look fluid, these oils have the consistency of agar or gelatin, and for reasons not known to press all visibly as though alive. Although we have not personally seen this ourselves, reliable friends have assured us that this is true, because these oils have seen with their own eyes. When they left their ship showing its elastic nature like rubber rubber.

The oils are kept in small ceramic vessels designed for oils call (cupu choopoo pronounced), but not any cupu, because inappropriate vessels would crack. They must be in their proper colors too. There should be no mirror in the room where they are, and adequate ventilation is necessary to its proper preservation.

The domed containing the oil must be placed in Kawiyang pieces of fabrics assembled in layers, one above the other. The backdrop is white, symbolizes the "death". The average layers of cloth is yellow representing "protection." The top sheet, black means holiness.

Above the clothes should place a plaque made of any other material but white porcelain. A mixture of ordinary rice and glutinous sort should fill about half of the plate. This rice mixture is where the oil Kawiyang cupu placed and maintained.

If the oil is kept indiscriminately without following the instructions earlier would soon lose their power. If this occurs, a purification ritual must be determined out every Friday night and Sunday, including full moons to revive weakening oil. The method is to establish the oil with the lay-out of up and then have 3 units of red incense burning, along with a lighted candle. The incense should be half-consumed before proceeding to the next step. When ready, raise the oil with the dish, along with the drapes across the incense to be purified by the smoke. Ask around clockwise around the incense three to seven times. Put the objects down, and then simply lift the plate and the oil and repeat the process. This purification should be made for the third time with only domed. Encircle the oil vessel 3 to 7 times clockwise around the smoke. While the sanctification of objects to recite the mantra smoke following:

"Raja Benilan Jinak ulah Sinar Putih Putih nur ghayb urang"

Once the purification process is complete candle can be extinguished, but let the incense be totally consumed.

There is a belief that oil should be removed Kawiyang's own dwelling, where a member of our family goes. Only after the deceased has been buried cupu allowed back with the oil to its original place in the home.

It also states that the holder of oil Kawiyang should not quarrel with the wife or commit adultery because it would cause bad luck. If violated one must correct the situation by pouring the blood of a black chicken in the ship of oil and rice dish. This cleaning should be repeated with red sugar cane juice.

This oil should not be passed on to others indiscriminately. Only be given to others after having possessed for at least three years, and not at night since it is considered safe to do so. Applicants for this oil must prepare a domed and golden scissors beforehand – the domed to receive oil and scissors to cut the rubber threads. The one receiving the oil should make a promise to obey commandments and properly care for it. Kawiyang oil should not be tainted by the dirty water, otherwise it would lose its power.
