Mathematics and computers teamed up about 20 years ago and created a whole new world of art called fractals. If you follow the philosophy far enough, and watch enough of the computer mathematical creations, many of the things we see in everyday life are replicated in the fractals of the computer. J. C. Sprott is considered the father of fractal art and the physicist who created much of the early software. I'll leave it up to you whether this is art, science or whatever you wish it to be. |
