WELCOME to Unity Spirit, an open fellowship on the web.

We are a liberal, freethinking, earth-centered, spiritual organization based upon three tenets.

First and Foremost, We Believe In the Individual's Right To Believe, Pursue and Practice the Religious, Spiritual, and Philosophical Practices That Strengthen and Fulfill the Individual. We Believe in the Individual's right to pursue their own Truth.

Secondly, and equally important, Do No Harm as You Pursue.

Thirdly, all life is sacred and from God, the Goddess, the One, the Force, the Divine, the Creator, IT.

Who We Are

We exist as a forum and at times a physical gathering spot where all can feel safe to share their thoughts, learn about others, other faiths, and the Earth, share a celebration and equally give thanks as each individual feels the need to do so. We do NOT have dogma or doctrines that tell you what to think. We do not define God for you. The Divine, the Creator, the Spirit is beyond definition and requires no creed. We are religious liberals because we gather to celebrate the values of a reality greater than Self. We see not color, age, sexual orientation, social status, economic status, racial ethnic background nor any other characteristic which might be used to exclude. We welcome all! We welcome YOU!

COMMON, SHARED BELIEFS

We seek to make life the wonderful experience of discovery, sharing and growth it is meant to be. We are free thinkers, gladly accepting the wisdom of old and the discovery of new.

We believe in the separation of church and state.

We strongly believe in tolerance of all individual beliefs and paths.

We believe in reason, scientific exploration, spiritual exploration and the right to share our experiences in fellowship.

We believe that we are one with our Creator, and that all life on Mother Earth deserves respect and care.

We believe Mother Earth has provided us with all we need, but we must think of the needs of seven generations forth, and not take everything in sight today for we must care for those yet to come.

We believe in laughter and in dance; in song and in tears well shed.

We believe in the individual, and the sacredness of each soul with whom we meet.

We believe in sharing, within our own family units, within our communities and within our world for what we begin at home shall be shared upon the world.
